My Next App

Hey everyone, my next app is not going to be a game, but a utility. It will be a digital scale app. With it, you will be able to weigh small objects such as coins among other things. ^^ It will work by having you balance it on your finger, then you put the object in the tray. It will calculate the weight based on the angle caused by the weight of the object. ^^ Here’s a screenshot.

New Game Concept!

Here’s a little drawing of what I may be doing for my next game. I don’t want to reveal too much now, but the main goal will to get the ragdoll in the basket thingie ^^

My ToDo List

Hi everyone, here’s a sneak peek of my to do list ^^

1)Finish Coin Collect 2

2)Finish the Shoot Em Down update (sorry this has been taking so long)

3)Work more on my red button game prototype

Please keep in mind that none of this is final and may change later on as I think of new game ideas. ^^

Prototype Basic Enemy

Here’s a sketch of the basic enemy that I will have in my target practice physics game. Still haven’t thought of a good name for it yet. Anyway, the thing on top of the vehicle is the red button that you have to hit to destroy it. ^^

Yet Another Prototype

Here’s a little update on the old target practice physics game that I made a while ago. I’ve been getting some good feedback from a few people on it, so I might take it more seriously and turn it from a prototype into an actual game, haha. Anyways, here’s a little screenshot of the updated colors. Still thinking up a basic enemy design =/

Coin Collect Sound

I’ve added sound effect so my Coin Collect game. From now on you can just go to http://justaprototype.com/flash/coincollect/ to view the latest version of Coin Collect. ^^ Play it, and any feedback would be great!

Coin Collect Beta

I got some more work on Coin Collect done. The player, enemy, and coin sprites have been updated, so play the game and tell me what you think. ^^

Click to play! ^^

Coin Collect Design And Prototype

Hey everyone, I’ve been working on a new flash game called coin collect. Right now it’s in an early prototype stage, but you can play it now if you want. Here’s the design doc and a screenshot. Click on the screenshot to play the game. The goal is to collect the coins while avoiding the enemies. ^^

Pixel Wars Prototype

Here’s a prototype that I made about 3-4 months ago (yeah, it’s old >.<) But it looks pretty cool. Here’s a pic of the concept art that I made ^^

Also, here’s a video of the drones mining.

Plans For My Next Game

Hmm, so as you know, my next game will be the cat one. I still haven’t thought of a decent title for it (gah!) Anyways, when I am coding or working on the game I will record a timelapse to keep track of how long I work on the game. I will publish it to youtube, but not in a high enough resolution where you can actually see the code, haha.

Anyway, if I know that people will eventually see me work in the video, it will hopefully inspire me to work faster. We’ll see how that goes ^^ I will start on coding once I have the entire designed and worked out. If you couldn’t tell from the post-its, in the game you control a cat. You can move him by tapping and dragging anywhere on the screen. The game starts off with one rail, and a laser rocket launcher on it. All of the rocket launchers will only be able to move by sliding back and forth on the rail they are on.

There are three types of rocket launchers in the game, and they are the homing, straight, and laser ones. The laser one can only fire horizontally and vertically, but it is fast. The straight one can shoot at angles, but once again, the rocket can only travel in a straight path. Last, and the most deadly, are the homing rockets. They are slow, but the cat around. You can get rid of them by making them collide with each other. Anyway, that pretty much sums it up for the design, I just have a few things left to work out.
