Does anyone have any suggestions to the Shoot Em Down store before I start coding it out?

Right now once you buy a weapon, that slot turns into an upgrade slot, and you can purchase upgrades there.

Shoot Em Down On Google Wave

A few of my friends invited me to google wave and I got accepted! I tried it out and it is really cool. If any of you out there have google wave, you can access the wave that I made for shoot em down by searching with:public “Hi everyone, I’m working on an update” with the quotes. If you have any suggestions for my game, tell me in the wave!

Shoot Em Down Weapons Done

Well, I finally got all the code for the weapons done! ^^ Watch the video and tell me what you think. The Shoot Em Down update should be done soon. Watch the video in full screen and HD, and happy thanksgiving!

Shoot Em Down Weapon Previews

I coded in all of the weapons for Shoot Em Down. Right now they are just for show, I need to add collision detection for the bullets to actually kill the enemies. Here’s a video, sorry for the bad quality.

So right now I have to add collision detection, an upgrade system, a store, a wave system, and a title screen. ^^

Shoot Em Down Optimizations

Hi everyone, I did a few stress tests on the game to see how well it would hold up and it is not looking good…the game slows down considerably after 60 or 70 kills. This is probably due to the fact that I am not disabling the physics to the enemies that are already dead and on the floor. As a result, I will have to clear the enemies that have been killed after each wave. So right now the main thing that I will be working on is code optimizations to get the game to run smoothly no matter what. ^^

Shoot Em Down Weapons Drawn

All the weapons that the player are holding have been finally drawn out. Took a while but it is done. Here are a few screen shots of what has been drawn ^^

Then next think to do will be coding the weapons to fire. Then coding and balancing out the waves. And the store where you can buy new weapons and upgrade the ones that you own. I am also planning a nice title screen where you can play with a rag doll, by flicking it around! ^^

Shoot Em Down Status

Hi everyone, here’s a little update on where Shoot Em Down is at. Whats done right now is all of the gun images and icons. The weapon selection system is finished, you just have to tap the player and drag to select a new gun. The coins and their physics are finished. All that’s left to do is code the weapons, the store, add waves to the game, and make a nice title screen. Oh yeah, and weapon upgrades of course! ^^ That’s pretty much it, it’s going to take a while, but in the end it will be worth it!

Shoot Em Down Weapons

Hmm, I finally got to drawing out the weapons for Shoot Em Down ^^ I drew out a pistol, shotgun, and a machine gun. I also wrote some code for drawing the laser. Here are the weapons:
